Technology has the potential to transform math classrooms and support equity-centered practices. In this collaborative and hands-on session, participants will discuss how they currently use technology in their math classes, what is working, and what could be improved. We will look at technology tools that have the potential to support equitable practices and discuss the characteristics of these tools. Participants will evaluate technology-enhanced lessons using a lesson analysis tool and consider how technology could be leveraged to support students’ mathematical thinking and identity.
