Want to learn about the exciting features in Desmos and Polypad? In this session you can nerd out with virtual manipulatives for the 6-8 grade band. Participants will learn how to use the virtual manipulatives in Polypad for FDP, equations, proportions, coordinate plane, and probability. Participants will also learn how to use a double number line percent model in Desmos to help students understand finding the percent of a number, finding the tax/tip/discount of an item, and finding the percent change! Come ready to ask how you can use the tools for an upcoming topic, SOL review, or just have some fun!
